SPARTANBURG — Julie Sanker, 66, of Spartanburg, died Sunday March 10, 2013, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Julie was born on Feb. 6, 1947, in Bronx, N.Y. a daughter of the late Vincent P. and Helen Cerone Kinlan.

She retired from real estate and spent her time traveling with her companion Rudy whenever possible. Julie especially loved visiting resorts, going on cruises, dancing and living life to the fullest. Her proudest accomplishments in life are her daughter and her grandchildren, who affectionately called her MiMa.

Julie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Douglas Scott and grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Scott, all of Wallkill, N.Y.; brothers, Vincent Kinlan of Suffern, N.Y. and Charles Kinlan of Long Island, N.Y.; and the greatest love of her life, Rudolph Wittemann of Prosperity.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Sanker; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Kinlan and Mary Kinlan.

Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday March 16, 2013, at St. Charles Borromea in Gardiner, N.Y. Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brooks Funeral Home, Gidney Avenue Newburgh, N.Y.
