Woodbridge, VA. — Brian Alan Mature, 29, of Woodbridge, VA died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012.

Born on Nov. 23, 1983, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., he was the son of Roger and Nora Plumblee Mature.

He attended the University Of South Carolina and was employed by Prince William County/Park Authority. He also enjoyed substituting in Prince William County Schools. Growing up he enjoyed playing on his travel soccer team in addition to playing varsity soccer for his local high school. Brian loved to travel with his family and spend summers with his relatives in South Carolina. Brian is survived by his parents; sister, Michelle; grandmother, Ellen Harper Mature of Newberry; uncles and aunts; Tommy and Rosemary Plumblee of West Columbia; Stephen and Susan Mature of Sumter; Ronald and Michael Mature both of Myrtle Beach; cousins, Katie Lane of Lexington; Michael Plumblee of West Columbia, Andrew Mature of San Antonio, Texas; Will and Matthew Mature of Newberry; Dillon Bethea of Gilbert; and his very close lifelong friends, Karl Rohrbaugh of Radford, Va. and Erik Rohrbaugh of Hilton Head.

Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Plumblee Bagwell and paternal grandfather, Albert Phillip Mature

We will miss his big heart, sense of humor and dynamic personality.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel in Newberry. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery

Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home.
