PROSPERITY — Mrs. Remonia M. Williams, 84, formerly of Prosperity died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, in Irvington, N.J.
Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Anderson Moon and the late Mrs. Gertrude Adams Moon.
She was a member of Hannah A.M.E. Church in Newberry and a member of the Women’s Home Aid #54.
She was formerly employed by Whitten Center, Clinton as a nurses aid.
Surviving aer two sons, Fernard Maurice Williams Sr. (Cheryl) and Samuel Gordon Williams Sr. (Michele), all of New Jersey; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother-in-law, Mower Williams (Lavonne) of Newberry and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services and burial will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Hannah A.M.E. Church.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Newberry.
