NEWBERRY — Funeral services for Mr. Larry Dale Sims, will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Sims passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Lexington Medical Center. Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Haskell Gray and the late Julia Kate Sims Ruff.

Surviving are two daughters, Preshion Lynch of Charleston and Crystal McClurkin of Union; four sisters, Jannell Alexander, Linda Ruff, Audrey Robinson and Pamela Gray all of Newberry; five brothers, Raymond Sims of Newberry; Michael Ruff and Frankie Ruff both of Laurens; Wilson Ruff III and George Ruff both of Newberry; three grandchildren, five aunts, four uncles, one son-in-law, two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, several nieces, nephews reared in the home with Thomas Sims.
