PROSPERITY — Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Praylow, age 79, will be conducted on Monday, April 20, 2009 at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Praylow died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born in Prosperity, he was the son of the late Otis T. Praylow and the late Helen Wheeler Praylow.

Mr. Praylow was predeceased by one daughter, Lorraine Praylow; one sister, Pauline Praylow; and four brothers, Henry, Paul, Silas and Leo Praylow.

Surviving are his wife, Annie Caldwell Praylow; four daughters, Martha Ann Praylow of Newberry, Barbara Praylow (Harrison), Sharon Praylow and Christine Epps, all of Prosperity; three sons, Tony Praylow of Prosperity, Otis Praylow of Columbia and Joseph Praylow of Newberry; one sister, Evelyn Praylow of Hardwick, Ga.; 17 grandchildren, including devoted grandsons, Chakon Praylow, Arsenio Epps and Lamar Praylow; nine great-grandchildren, including devoted great-granddaughter, Tahkynah Praylow; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and other relatives.
