Prosperity-Rikard Elementary second-graders and third-graders enjoyed plenty of laughter thanks to magician Scott Davis’s visit Thursday morning. Davis performed two magic shows — one to kindergartners earlier — and also traveled later to Pomaria-Garmany for an afternoon show. Davis came courtesy of Newberry Electric Cooperative and also taught electric safety rules.

Magician Scott Davis selected a couple of Prosperity-Rikard students to help him on stage with some magic tricks. Carson Cockrell, left, and Jakeira McGraw assisted Davis as he performed magic and provided education about electrical safety.
