NEWBERRY — Technical command, a vivid sense of style, beauty of sound and plain old-fashion passion will be in abundance at the Newberry Opera House at 8 p.m. Friday when the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin performs.
With a decade of excellence under its belt, the orchestra, comprised of some of Russia’s finest string players, has carved a niche for itself under the creative baton of its founder and music director Misha Rachievsky. Chamber Orchestra Kremlin’s warmth and high energy create addictive performances that stay with listeners long after the last note has been played.
The 17-piece orchestra is brilliant, solidly rehearsed and led with an uncommonly creative sense of music making by Rachievsky, a sound musician and gifted showman.
