Believing that Holy Matrimony is ordained by God and in the spirit of Christian joy, Shyrene and Journi proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their parents, Felecia Katrina Gibson and Dexter Maurice Gallman.
Katrina is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James (Vivian) Williams of Newberry and Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses (Hattie) Gibson of Pomaria. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy (Jennie Ruff) Swittenburg and Mr. and Mrs. William Kay (Mary) Gibson.
Dexter is the son of the late Ms. Laura Gallman and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Kibler of Maryland. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest (Loumanda) Gallman and the late Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Kibler.
Katrina is a Newberry High School graduate and nurse for Newberry Disabilities and Special Needs. Dexter is a Mid-Carolina graduate and mechanic utility worker for Philips.
A private wedding is planned for the spring of 2013.
