ROCK HILL – The Newberry College women’s basketball team has earned the fourth seed in the 2013 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament and will host fifth-seeded Carson-Newman at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The seedings were announced by the league office on Saturday night.

The four winners from Wednesday’s quarterfinals will travel to Greenville on Saturday for the SAC Championship semifinals. The first women’s game is slated to tip off at noon at Timmons Arena on the campus of Furman University in Greenville.
