PROSPERITY — Mrs. Betty Jane Jackson, 63, of 635 S. Main St., Prosperity, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at her home.

Born in Prosperity, she was the daughter of the late Wade Dominick and the late Cora Davenport Dominick.

She was a member of Lower Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Jackson of the home; one daughter, Charlene Dominick (Robert) of Prosperity; two sons, Tony Dominick (Teresa) and Tyrone Dominick (Kesha) all of Prosperity; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethleen Austin of Pennsylvania, Alda Cannon, Christine Austin, Mandy Lee Kibler, all of Prosperity and Mattie Bell Dawkins (Marvin) of Columbia; Uncle Thomas C. Davenport of Columbia; sisters-in-law Janie Dewalt (Aaron) and Elizabeth Penny, all of Prosperity; brother-in-law Ulysses Jackson (Sally) of Newberry and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services and burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lower Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church in Prosperity.
