NEWBERRY — Funeral services for Mr. Frank Sanders Sr., 95, will be conducted on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Sanders passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. Born in Newberry, he was the son of the late Edward Sanders and the late Mattie Mozee Sanders. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and leader of the senior choir. He was also a member of Fairview Lodge No. 39, Scottish Rite and Son’s of Aide Lodge No. 21.

Mr. Sanders was predeceased by his wife, Eloise Wilson Sanders; son, Frank Sanders Jr. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Surviving are one daughter, Geraldine Sanders Wells of Newberry; grandchildren, Maurice D. Lucas (Marilyn) of Newberry, SC; Eldredgh S. Sanders, Michelle D. Bodrick (Randy), Cristrea B. Sanders and Sonya S. Goodwin (Tracy) all of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Wyatt Rayanna, Angel, Tesha, Steven, Bryce and Shelton; great-great grandchildren, Makala, Deahjae, Amaru, Alani and Tayden; daughter-in-law, Cynthia D. Sanders, two sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
