Joshua Parker signed his national letter of intent to play college football for the Newberry Wolves on Feb. 6. Parker, who is 6-foot-3 and weighs 260 pounds, was a standout defensive end and offensive lineman for the Mid-Carolina Rebels. Looking on as he signs are his brother, Zachary Parker; mother, Belinda Parker; father, Jennings Parker; Mid-Carolina Position Coach Jackie Harris; Principal Ray Cooper; and Head Football Coach Louie Alexander.
