Newberry High School congratulates its December Teacher of the Month, Huger Caughman, left, and its December Staff Member of the Month, Mary Ellen Sligh. Caughman teaches algebra in the Freshman Academy and enjoys teaching the students at Newberry High School. He has many talents as well in the area of music to fill his life journeys with joys of pleasure and enlightenment. Sligh is the school’s bookkeeper. She has the pleasure of working with all of the staff and the students as well. She is very active in children’s music at her church as well.
