In the beginning of a New Year. We should ask ourselves just what that means to us. Are we completely satisfied with our life or do we need to make some changes?
I learned a long time ago there is always room for improvements in my life, I want to be a better wife, a better mom, and most of all I want to be a better child of God.
Even tho we strive to be better at the things that are important to us, we still face things that hinder us. When we are hindered that shouldn’t stop us. Sometimes we have to put forth extra effort.
That’s when we appreciate what’s been done.
I often think of the effort Jesus put forth for us. He left the riches of heaven and came to earth to redeem us. He did something for us we couldn’t do for ourselves.
Sometimes he uses us to do things for others, when they can’t do for themselves.
As we start a New Year let’s follow Christ and seek ways to please him.
Following Christ should not be a hardship. Look what he did for us.
