PROSPERITY — Mid-Carolina High School defeated Union County High School 70-60 on Friday in boys basketball action.
The win brings the Mid-Carolina record to 3-3, while Union falls to 1-8.
Zack Parker scored 20 points for the Rebels and was followed by Brent Caldwell with 18 points. Tevarres Taylor also scored in the double digits with 15.
Ryan Stoudemire, Marcus McMorris and Javarius Nelson all contributed four points each to the win.
Danton Hyman made three points for the Rebels. Chris Boyd added two more in the win.
The MC boys will return to action on Wednesday at the Newberry College Christmas Classic.
