NEWBERRY — Lucille Gore Graddick, 74, of Newberry died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on Dec. 22, 1937, in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of the late, James and Evie Lou Gore. She was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Graddick is survived by her daughter, Cathy Gibbs of Newberry; sons, Paul Graddick of Waterloo and Carl (Beverly) Graddick of Newberry; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude O. Graddick, two sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jimmy Counts. Interment will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Newberry.

Pallbearers will be Chance Glenn, Craig Ruff, Christopher Graddick, Quin Oxner, Alec Clark, and Cole Lever. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny and Tommy Meeks.
