“I was very pleased with our guys performance Wednesday night,” said Whitmire Coach Jarrod King. “We swept the match going 2-0 with half of our starting line-up being freshmen. Not only did we defeat both teams but we did it in convincing fashion only losing one individual match in each dual and one of those was an overtime decision. Assistant coach and Newberry College senior Corey Sullivan does a great job on the mat with our young men. He challenges them every day to raise their bar and they are answering that challenge.”
