Author Jerry Pallotta visited Gallman Elementary School and incorporated fun into his visit about reading and writing.
Students in second through fifth grades enjoyed meeting and learning from author Jerry Pallotta when he visited Gallman Elementary School in November. Pallotta read to the children and emphasized the importance of reading daily, research and writing. The children had a great time with the author. Several classes created drawings and writing activities that incorporated the skills that were discussed throughout the assembly. Students were excited about the opportunity and now realize that they to can become an author and illustrator of their own books.
