NEWBERRY — Mrs. Helen S. Hair, 93, of 335 Werts Avenue and widow of Adell Hair Sr. died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Providence Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Newberry and was a daughter of the late Willie Suber and Nancy Simms Suber. Mrs. Hair was a member of New Enoree Baptist Church and was a retired housekeeper and caregiver.

Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories are a son, Timothy B. Hair Sr. of the home; sister Mildred E. Murray of Columbia; five grandchildren, Rhonda Nixon of Macon, Ga., Kimberly Werts Mathis (Aaron) of Aberdeen, Md., Michael E. Werts (Torchia) of Newberry, Darryl Thompson Werts of Aberdeen , Md. Timothy B. Hair Jr. of Laurens; nine great-grandchildren, Mykia, Darryl, Malique, Monty, Michael, Marquis, Madison, Devin and Montez; one great-great-granddaughter, Kaleigha J. Werts; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom grieve her departure, but rejoice that she is now resting with the Lord.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at New Enoree Baptist Church, 190, Dove Drive, Newberry.
