PROSPERITY — A number of people in the Prosperity area lost power on Monday after a relay switch failed.
The outage occurred around 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Fairview area of Prosperity.
The electricity went off when a relay switch at a substation failed. Some 1,200 customers were without power.
In less than an hour all but 35 customers had their electricity restored and the rest in an hour-and-a-half.
