NEWBERRY — Newberry College head women’s basketball coach Sean Page and head men’s basketball coach Dave Davis invite Newberry basketball supporters to the annual Tip-Off Dinner on Monday, Nov. 5.

The dinner will take place at The Grille on Main at 1212 Main St. Dinner will be $12 per person, payable at the door, with a selection of country fried steak, cheeseburger plate or a grilled chicken salad.

Following dinner, both coaches will speak about the upcoming season. The men open their season with an exhibition game at Purdue on Nov. 3. The regular season begins with the Mom Reeves Tournament in Eleazer Arena on Nov. 9 and 10, when the Wolves host North Georgia, Salem International and Warren Wilson.

The women have multiple preseason closed scrimmages and begin the regular season on Nov. 10 and 11 at the OrthoCarolina Classic in Wingate, N.C., against UNC Pembroke and Montevallo. Their first home game is Nov. 20 verses Morris to start a string of six consecutive home games.
