Mid-Carolina High School had 26 students entered into the South Carolina State Fair this year for ninth through 12th grades. Throughout the entire state only 200 entries were hung for exhibition. Standing are Daniel Romero, Kristin Long, and Josh Eller who all won merit awards for tenth graders. Seated are Heather Nobles who won a merit award in photography on the eleventh grade level, and Taylor Smith third in state in sculpture. The works have been on display the last two weeks in Columbia. The teacher of these students is Debbie Bowers Murphy.
