DALTON, GA. — Martha Lynn Smith, 55, of Dalton, Ga., passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at her home.

She was the daughter of Martha A. Son Smith and the late Fred Lawton Smith. She was also predeceased by a brother, Thomas Fred Smith.

She was a member of Northwest Christian Fellowship.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Nick Taylor of Dalton, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Diana Gray of Tunnel Hill and Wesley and Karen Gray of Tunnel Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Andrea Dale and Mark Smith of Marietta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Emma Lilly Gray and Oliver Hardin Gray; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Monday at 6 p.m. at Northwest Christian Fellowship with the Rev. Michael Watkins and Mark Stirnemann officiating. The family received friends at Julian Peeples Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
