Newberry City Recreation Program Coordinator Janet Long, left, was honored by City Manager Jeff Shacker for 20 years of working for the city. Long started her employment with the city on Sept. 28, 1992. She was recently promoted to program coordinator and is working with activities for the seniors, along with her many other duties.
