NEWBERRY — One person has been charged with an August shooting on Charles Street.
Tyrone Tanquail Neal, 20, was arrested and charged over the weekend with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and discharging firearms into a dwelling.
On Aug. 28, Neal shot into a home on Charles Street in the West End community, according to Newberry Police Captain Kevin Atkins.
Akins says several people were standing out side the home during the “drive by style shooting.”
The shots did not hit any of the people in the yard but did hit the house.
