Livingston joins Observer staff

She is Newberry born and Newberry raised and now working for the Newberry Observer.

Julie Willingham Livingston has joined The Observer as an advertising representative.

In her duties, Livingston will be helping the people who she has known for years to promote their businesses and activities.

“I grew up here and want to work to continue to make this a hometown newspaper,” said Livingston. “I am enjoying working for The Newberry Observer.”

Livingston is a native of Newberry and a graduate of Newberry College and Newberry High School.

She come to The Newberry Observer after having worked in sales for Elliott Brothers and at a shoe store.

In addition to working at The Observer, Livingston is the choir director at Macedonia Lutheran Church.

When she is not a soccer mom and doing things with her family, Livingston’s hobbies are music and singing.

She is married to Robbie Livingston and the couple have two children, John Douglas and Coleman.
