A new apartment complex is planned for Wilson Road.

The new complex will be called Pebble Brook and will have 48 units.

The complex is going on the property where Cuttin’ Up is located and will be near Wilson Tractor and the intersection with Adelaide Street and Fish Hatchery Road.

Pebble Brook will have low income housing credits, according to Newberry City Manager Jeff Shacker.

The developers are in the process of submitting their plans to city building and permitting officials.

The new apartment complex is causing the Cuttin’ Up staff to relocate to C.R. Koon Highway between Lane Properties and Coppocks Collision Center.

Construction should start by the end of the year.

Editors Note: We apologize that in the online version of the story it was stated that Cuttin’ Up, which has been in business for 22 years, is relocating to Calhoun Street when the company is relocating to C.R. Koon Highway.
