The Newberry Observer’s Cutest Pets contest it becoming the talk of the town.
Discussions about entering pets in the contest could be heard during family outings, at stores and churches over the Labor Day weekend.
Also the contest picked up a few participants over the weekend and the number of entries are increasing daily.
Entrants include dogs, a group of kitties and a horse. But any animal can enter.
Submissions of photos in the annual Cutest Pet Contest will be taken through Sept. 29.
Voting begins on Sept. 17 and winners will be announced the week of Oct. 1.
To enter the online contest simply click on the contest logo on the Newberry Observer website at www.newberryobserver.com and follow the directions.
Entries will be accepted through Saturday, Sept. 29.
Voting will continue through Sunday, Sept. 30.
