The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

S.C. Highway Patrol

Demetric Lorenz Williams, 36, was arrested and charged with window tinting or sunscreening, installation, sale, or certificate violation, driving under suspension, failure to return driver’s license after notice of suspension, cancellation or revocation, reckless driving, littering, and failure to maintain proof of insurance in motor vehicle.

Newberry Police

Kenneth Ross Burk, 50, was arrested and charged with drinking alcoholic liquors in public.

Monique Denise Jones, 28, was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct.

Cornelius William Rauch, 22, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension.

Michael Lamar Crawford, 26, was arrested and charged with driving without a license.

Carley Alexis Shirey, 19,was arrested and charged with drinking alcoholic liquors in public and possession of marijuana.

William Davie Hendrix, 20, was arrested and charged with drinking alcoholic liquors in public.
