Mr. George R. Wertz and the late Mrs. Dorothy A. Wertz announce the engagement of their daughter, Veronica A. Wertz of Gaffney to Terry Spearman of Newberry.
The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson of Comer, Ga. and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wertz of Newberry.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of the Mrs. Virginia S. Spearman and the late William Spearman Jr. of Newberry. He is the maternal grandson of the late Rev. E. S. Sligh and Militda Clark Sligh of Newberry and the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Spearman Sr. of Newberry.
The wedding is planned for June 30, 2012, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Newberry at 4 p.m.
The reception will follow immediately with invitations only at the Triangle Daycare and Activity Center on Boundary Street Extension.
