EASLEY - Frank Robert “Bob” Cook, 75, widower of Marie Cothran Cook, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Countryside Village.

Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Ira Frank and Eunice Buzhardt Cook.

Mr. Cook was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are three sons, Warren Cook of Greenville, Michael Cook and his wife, Paula, of Greenville, and Preston Cook of Monks Corner; two sisters, Carolyn Shealy of Newberry and Allene Huffsteller of Little Mountain; a brother, Wyman Cook of Prosperity; and two grandchildren, Elijah and Charley Cook.

Memorials may be made to Triune Mercy Center, 222 Rutherford St., Greenville, SC 29609 or Good Neighbor Shelter-Homeless Veterans Center, 2713 Spurill Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29705.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A graveside service will follow at noon at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home of Warren Cook, 10 Plainfield Circle, Greenville.
