STANLEY RAY WISE

NEWBERRY - Stanley Ray Wise, 58, of 4152 Highway 34-121, Newberry, died Wednesday at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Prosperity, he was the son of Annie Ruth Gallman Hair and the late James Walter Wise.

He attended Lever Chapel A.M.E. Church. He was self-employed and operated the Wise Car Wash in Newberry.

Surviving are his wife, Sallie Pearl Gallman Wise of the home; mother, Annie Ruth Hair of Newberry; two daughters, Katrina Michelle Wise of the home and Tanya Regina Wise (Johnny) of Newberry; two grandchildren, Qumaine Bowers and Brianna Bowers of Newberry; two sisters, Betty Cureton and Margaret H. Rikard, both of Newberry; a brother, Willie Clarence Hair (Linda) of Whitmire; three uncles; 10 aunts; mother-in-law, Mary Gallman of Newberry; four sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a very devoted friend, Warren Caldwell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Lever Chapel A.M.E. Church in Prosperity. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing at the church will begin one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Annie R. Hair, 4146 Highway 34-121, Newberry.
