Barbara Sease Hare of Newberry announces the engagement of her daughter, Melissa Lee Hare to Thomas C. Livingston, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Clarence Livingston Jr. of Newberry. Ms. Hare is also the daughter of the late Mr. Heyward B. Hare.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Govan Sease Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Allen Hare. She is a graduate of Newberry College and is employed by The School District of Newberry County.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. I. Clarence Livingston Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Thomas Mayer. He is a graduate of Newberry High School and is employed by Clinton-Newberry Natural Gas Authority.

A wedding is planned for Nov. 3, 2007, at 5 p.m. The service will be held at Saint Philip's Lutheran Church in Newberry. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
