Daughters of the American Revolution National Defense committee presented ROTC medals at Newberry High and Mid-Carolina High schools senior nights.

The honor is given to a graduating student who has demonstrated academic excellence, good character, adherence to military discipline, leadership and a fundamental and patriotic understanding of the importance of reserve officer training corps.
