<p><strong>STILL STRONG</strong> &#8212; Jim Perry and J.C. Lester reunite at the third annual National Guard reunion for Newberry&#8217;s unit Saturday. The two both served the state of South Carolina as well as America and have many stories to tell. Lester was the oldest retired guardsman at the reunion and served in the original 1939 unit in Newberry and retired as Colonel. Perry retired as command Sgt. Maj.</p>
