In his four-year career at Newberry, Dondray Walker was named a preseason All-America and was a three-time all-South Atlantic Conference selection.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Newberry College graduate Dondray Walker will be on the roster for Orlando Magic White for the 2015 Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League, which will take place July 4-10, 2015.

Walker, a May 2015 graduate of Newberry College and native of Fountain Inn, becomes the first Newberry player to join an NBA squad since the scarlet and gray moved to the NCAA ranks in the 1990s.

In his four-year career at Newberry, Walker was named a preseason All-America and was a three-time all-South Atlantic Conference selection. He was a first team honoree in 2013-14 and second team honoree in 2011-12 and 2012-13.

Despite being hampered by injury in his senior campaign, Walker still racked up fantastic numbers for the Wolves. He scored 1,533 career points and averaged 15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game over his career. He was a 42.6 percent shooter from the floor and connected on 40.7 percent of his three-point attempts.

The Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League is a 25-game, seven-day event which will feature two teams from the Orlando Magic, along with the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Walker will suit up for Orlando Magic White as part of a 14-man roster. NBA TV will televise the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League games, with a complete schedule of games and broadcast information to be released at a later date.
