NEWBERRY — The Newberry College baseball team holds tight onto the No. 20 spot this week in the Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division II Poll.

Tampa is still in the first spot of the poll with 480 points and a 11-1 record. St. Cloud State was placed in second after receiving 458 points followed by Franklin Pierce in third with 446.

Minnesota is fourth with 434 points, U.C. San Diego is fifth with 418 points, Millersville is sixth with 384 points, and Missouri Southern is seventh with 380 points.

Colorado Mesa takes the eighth spot with 350 while Lubbock Christian takes ninth place with 342 points and a 11-3 record. Quincy rounds out the top 10 with 330 points and a 3-0 record.

West Alabama takes 11th place with 310 points followed by Dixie State in 12th with 292 points. West Texas A&M is five spots ahead of Newberry taking 15th place with 256 points. St. Edward’s are 34 points ahead of the Wolves taking the 19th slot while S.C. Aiken takes 18th with 218 points and a 11-3 record.
