DUE WEST — Mid-Carolina High School varsity volleyball player Charlsy Traylor was named to the S.C. Coaches Association of Women’s Sports All-State Volleyball Team.

This award recognizes Traylor, a junior, as one of the top 18 volleyball players in classification 2A. All-State Volleyball players are chosen from nominations sent in from each region. The selection committee consists of one representative from each region with 72 female athletes selected statewide with 18 chosen from each classification.

The 1A/2A All-State recipients were recognized at an awards ceremony at Erskine College on Nov. 21 following the conclusion of the 1A/2A All-Star Match.
