WHITMIRE — The Whitmire High School Wolverines will take on St. Joseph’s Catholic Knights tonight, after the game was postponed Friday due to weather.
The Wolverines are currently 4-2 while the Knights are 3-3. Last year the Wolverines lost to the Knights 48-6.
Head Coach Charlie Jenkins said a win against the Knights could be what the Wolverines need.
“We want to earn a home playoff game this year. Beating a region opponent like St Joseph’s will be a huge step in that direction,” he said. “This will be a big game for us.”
Kickoff will be tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Whitmire.
