NEWBERRY — The annual Newberry Tri-County Swim Meet was held last Wednesday with Mid-Carolina High School, Newberry High School and Newberry Academy competing. The county has been holding this swim meet for about 10 years.

“We always have a good turnout for that meet. It is exciting because everyone competing is local,” said Khristia Webb, aquatics director for the YMCA and a referee for the meet.
