NEWBERRY – Thanks to two goals from junior Alyssa Ortega, the Wolves (4-8, 2-4) notched another win at home as they defeated the Anderson Trojans (6-4, 3-4) by a final of 2-0.
In a back and forth game, Ortega put the Wolves’ on the board in the 59th minute on a strike from the top of the box, as Anderson goalkeeper Abby Helm could not corral the ball. It was Ortega’s eighth goal of the season.
