NEWBERRY — The City of Newberry Parks, Recreation & Tourism kicked off its youth football season with a jamboree on Sept. 6 at Kendall Football Stadium. Four flag teams and 12 tackle teams each competed in a 10 minute quarter to get a feel for live game action. The regular season will begins Sept. 12.
