For the first time Newberry County 4-H took teams to the South Carolina 4-H Engineering Event in robotics challenge. Pomaria-Garmany Elementary supported Jump Rope for Heart during the week of Feb. 25 through March 1. All students jumped rope during their P.E. time. Thirty six students raised $1,716.55 this year. Since 2010, Pomaria-Garmany Elementary has raised over $6,000 for the American Heart Association.
