Joyce Vigus was recently honored by Newberry City Council for her work with updating the Christmas tree and decorations on the square. Academy hosts ‘burger buddy’ lunch
The Newberry Academy’s 3-, 4- and 5-year-old kindergarten classes recently invited their families to a “burger buddy” lunch. The students enjoyed hosting their special guests and were proud to share their musical talent and classroom activities with everyone. NEWBERRY — Middle school math students at Newberry Academy are busy working math problems for the St Jude’s Math-a-thon, an annual event to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. NEWBERY — The Miss Newberry Academy 2013 pageant was held March 2 with the reigning queen Emily Senn as the emcee.
