Newberry Adult Education teachers rewarded students with a certificate for student of the month based on his or her academic progress and work ethics in the classroom. David Green, adult education director, noted that teachers and himself enjoy recognizing adult students who have returned to school and are putting forth an extra effort to obtain their academic goals. Outstanding students of the month are Colby Stephens, Ismelda Rojas, and Trey Johnson. Not pictured are Tishena Cannon, Eusebio Castro, Davida Dominick, Maria Vasquez-Ramos, and Brittany Story.
