PROSPERITY — Dillon Pelton’s solid performances have led him to continue kicking the soccer ball for Newberry College.
The Mid-Carolina soccer player said that Newberry was his first choice and is glad to have a chance to play for the Wolves.
The senior has played all throughout high school but his soccer talent extends prior to Mid-Carolina.
His dad Anthony Pelton, who also happens to be a coach, said, “He started playing soccer when he was 4-years-old. We moved from Summerville and he’s always been a soccer player.”
Soccer just seems to run his blood. Dillon Pelton is described as a “solid striker,” according to his father and coach.
Rick Harris is also a soccer coach at the high school and agreed about Pelton.
In addition to his solid performance, Pelton played All State for the past two years and will also play in the North South game this year.
