WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Newberry College men’s basketball team’s exhibition contest at Purdue University has been pushed to an 8 p.m. start on Saturday according to Purdue officials.
The change was necessitated due to Purdue’s football game vs. Penn State chosen as a 3:30 p.m. kickoff by the Big Ten Conference.
The game will be Newberry’s first public appearance of the 2012-13 season and will be streamed online by the Big Ten Digital Network. This will be Purdue’s second exhibition game after the Boilermakers host the Montevallo Falcons on Tuesday night.
