Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Stroud of Prosperity are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Andrea Michelle Stroud to Stephen Brian Griffith. Stephen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Griffith of Prosperity.
Andrea’s maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. James Myers of Newberry. Paternal grandparents are Ms. Martha Stone Yonce of Aiken and the late Mr. Bill Yonce and Mr. Luther Stroud.
Stephen’s maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. France Sutherland of Dunlap, Tenn. His paternal grandparents are Mr. Bobby Griffith and the late Josephine Henry and Mr. and Mrs. Burnette Barker, all of Dunlap, Tenn.
Andrea is currently employed by Newberry hospital and will graduate in December with an Associate’s Degree in nursing.
Stephen is employed by Newberry Electric Cooperative as an A-class lineman.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Philips Lutheran Church, Newberry. Reception to follow at The Overlook at the Clinton House.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
