POMARIA — Sadie Lou Hentz Ringer, 96, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on Jan. 11, 1916, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late George David and Sallie Berley Hentz. She was retired form Old School Manufacturing. Mrs. Ringer was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where she was a member of WELCA and a member of the church choir. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant 55+ and the RSVP Volunteers.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the last of five siblings having been predeceased by sisters, Pauline Crooks, Mary Ringer, Christine Stoudemayer and a brother, Woodrow B. Hentz.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. Steve Jackson. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6–7:30 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Playground Fund, c/o Sandra Ruff, 208 Lakeside Drive, Chapin, SC 29036.

Active pallbearers will be Monte Bowers, Joe Crooks, Rusty Griffin, David Hentz, Richard Ringer, Steve Ringer, Tim Ringer and Mark Chappell.
