Mid-Carolina Middle’s Daniel Wicker was honored at Friday’s Rotary meeting as the teacher of the month. Wicker teaches seventh grade science and is on his 11th year teaching. In addition to teaching, Wicker is also the team leader for the seventh grade and helps coach seventh grade football and coordinates the school’s recycling program. Wicker is a Mid-Carolina graduate as well as Newberry College where he studied biology. He also received his master’s from Nova Southeastern.
